When Peter and Susan Watson opened Optic House 25 years ago, they knew just what Brantford folks needed. It would be perfect to have an optical shop capable of providing patients urgently in need of a pair of eyeglasses.
Prior to opening Optic House, Peter worked in the industry for many years. He understood how much people yearned for eyewear that offers the best in quality and value. In the course of more than 2 decades, we continue to follow Peter’s business model.
As we grow further, we also keep ourselves informed with the latest in technical advancements. At the same time, we strive to maintain the same family-oriented and welcoming atmosphere that our company has always been known for.
Later on, Peter and Susan’s daughters joined the company to bring their expertise as fully licensed opticians to the enterprise. As a locally owned and operated optical shop, we continue to make contributions to the community’s various charities and events. Optic House is also a proud sponsor of the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation, Brantford Comedy Festival, Those Damn Divas, Brantford Jazz Festival and various charitable organizations.
